Red Rose Picot and Lace Vest - Colete em Crochet Botão de Rosa

Hoje queria mostrar-vos este colete em crochet que já fiz há algum tempo para a minha filha. Segui o modelo da Picot and Lace Sweater mas sem mangas. Não é muito vulgar eu utilizar o preto, sobretudo em roupas de criança, mas a minha mãe deu-me uns restos desta lã que já deviam estar guardados há mais de vinte anos e como era tão pouca achei que só dava para fazer qualquer coisa para a pequenita. Para alegrar coloquei-lhe esta rosa e os botões em vermelho e, surpreendentemente, adoro vê-la com ele vestido!

 

Today I wanted to show you this crochet vest that I made for my daughter a few months ago. I followed the Picot and Lace Sweater pattern, without the sleeves. I usually don't work with black, especially when it comes to kids clothes, but my mother gave this scrap yarn, and as I figured it wasn´t enough for about anything for me, I just had to crochet something for the Little Lady. For a touch of color I added a red rose and buttons. It's amazing how it looks well on her!

Já há algum tempo, quando estava à procura de um modelo para fazer um casaquinho em crochet na internet, encontrei este Picot and Lace Crochet Sweater. É gratuito, não tem costuras, como eu gosto, e é bastante simples.Acabei por fazer algumas alterações ao modelo, não afunilei as mangas e fiz duas trancinhas de um lado e duas aberturas do outro para fechar o casaco com dois lacinhos em vez de botões. Entretanto a minha filha cresceu e as mangas estavam a ficar curtas, por isso acrescentei-as com o resto da lã que tinha sobrado. Ficou mesmo à medida!

A few months ago, I stumbled upon this Picot and Lace Crochet Sweater in the internet when I was looking for a little crochet sweater pattern. It's free, seamless and quite simple. I ended up making some changes to the pattern: didn't taper the sleeves and made two braids in one side and two button holes in the other, to fasten the cardi with two little bows instead of buttons. Meanwhile, my daughter grew up and the sleeves were becoming short, so I added some more rows with the remaining yarn. It suits her perfectly!
