Andava à procura de chapéus para o sol e encontrei este modelo em My Merry Messy Life. Fiz dois chapéus destes em crochet com uma flor aplicada. Este com uma aba plana,

e este com uma aba em folho. Adorei este modelo, e deu-me uma ideia que pensei que podia resultar mesmo bem.
and this one has a ruffled brim. I loved this pattern, and it gave me an idea that might turn out really well.
Há algumas semanas, fiz uma pega em crochet para a minha mãe. O modelo original, Pretty Petals, é muito versátil e já foi adaptado para fazer uma almofada, como esta fantástica Blooming Flower Cushion de Attic 24. Por isso achei que podia fazer um chapéu para o sol combinando estes dois modelos, e aqui está ele:
A few weeks ago, I crocheted a pot holder for my mother. The original pattern, Pretty Petals, is very versatile, and has been adapted to make cushion, like this gorgeous Blooming Flower Cushion from Attic 24. So I thought I could make a sun hat combining these two patterns and here it is:
Segui as instruções da Lucy e deixei de fazer aumentos quando a copa do chapéu atingiu o tamanho certo para servir à minha filha, depois fiz mais algumas voltas, sempre sem aumentos. Mudei para as instruções da Sara para fazer a aba, mas a minha é mais plana porque não fiz aumentos na 3ª volta, apesar de achar que uma aba com folho resultaria igualmente bem. Debruei a aba com conchas e estava terminado!
I followed Lucy's tutorial and stopped increasing when the crown had the right size to fit my daughter's head, then I made some more rows without increases. I switched to Sara's pattern for the brim, but made it flatter by not increasing on 3rd row, although I think a ruffled brim would look great too. I added a shell stitch edging and that's it!
