Vi várias golas e cachecóis em ponto inglês no Ravelry e fiquei com vontade de experimentar tricotar uma para mim. O ponto inglês é ideal para golas e cachecóis por ser bastante denso, mas é simultaneamente bastante elástico e flexível, por isso muito confortável. Fiz uma pesquisa na internet - como de costume - para aprender a fazê-lo e descobri dois métodos:
aqui em inglês, e
aqui em espanhol. Optei pelo método em espanhol porque me pareceu mais simples e depois foi só montar 40 malhas em agulhas de 6 mm, tricotar dois novelos de lã de 50 g cada um e coser as extremidades, depois de dar uma volta à gola para ficar torcida. E eis o resultado. Tenho-a usado bastante e posso comprovar que é mesmo quentinha e confortável. Um sucesso!
I've seen a few of these brioche stitch infinity scarfs and cowls on Ravelry and I wanted to try and knit one for me too. Brioche stitch is very suited to knit cowls and scarfs because it's very thick yet supple and flexible - very comfortable. I've browsed the web for a video tutorial - as usual - and found one in English here, and another in Spanish here. I chose the Spanish one because it seemed easier, and then I just casted on 40 stitches on 6 mm needles, knitted 2 50 g skeins of yarn, and sew the ends together after twisting the scarf, to make an infinity scarf. And there you have it! It pretty much has stayed in my neck since then, and I can assure you it's very warm and comfy. I love it!
