Another Crochet Shawl - Mais Um Xaile em Crochet

Mais um xaile em crochet, desta vez para mim. Já fiz dois destes xailes para oferecer à minha mãe e à minha irmã, e este tinha de ser meu. É tão macio e leve! E adoro a cor! Usei um fio muito fino, uma mistura de lã de merino e seda, e uma agulha de crochet de 5mm. Estou muito satisfeita com o resultado. Este modelo, Eva's Shawl, é muito simples mas muito bonito, excelente para uma primeira tentativa. E tenho a certeza de que para mim não será a última!

Another crochet shawl, this time for me. I have already made two of these to give to my mother and my sister, and this one had to be mine. It's so soft and light! And I love this color! I used a merino and silk lace yarn and a 5mm crochet hook, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. This pattern, Eva´s Shawl,  is very simple but beautiful, really good for a first try. And I'm sure this won't be my last!

Já há algum tempo que andava à procura de um modelo de xaile em crochet simples e fácil de fazer, daqueles que dificilmente poderão correr mal. Numa das minhas pesquisas na internet encontrei este Eva's Shawl de Milobo, (com instruções gratuitas em inglês e espanhol no Ravelry) que achei muito bonito, e meti logo mãos à obra. Fiz estes dois de seguida, um para oferecer à minha mãe e outro à minha irmã.

I was looking for a simple and easy crochet shawl pattern, the kind that hardly go wrong. When I was browsing the net I found this lovelly Eva's Shawl by Milobo (PDF free download of English and Spanish versions on Ravelry) and started right away. I crocheted two of these: one for my mother and another for my sister.

O xaile da minha mãe foi feito com lã fina Easyknits Twinkle Lace, uma mistura de lã de merino e seda com 5% de stellina, o que lhe confere um brilho subtil que acho que resultou muito bem.

For my mother's shawl I used lace weight yarn, Easyknits Twinkle Lace, merino and silk with 5% of stellina for a subtle shimmer that I think came out really well.

Para o da minha irmã usei uma lã um pouco mais grossa, Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk Paints, uma mistura de lã de merino e seda, com grande definição de ponto.

Acho que foram ambos muito apreciados, a avaliar pelo uso que têm tido. Sucesso garantido!!!

For my sister's shawl I used fingering weight yarn, Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk Paints, merino and silk, with great stitch definition.

I think both these shawls were most appreciated, judging by the number of times they were worn. Success!!!
