Quick and Easy Knitted Hat - Gorros em Tricot

Tricotei estes gorros para o projeto solidário Malhas de Esperança, uma iniciativa para ajudar a suavizar o sofrimento das crianças afetadas por essa doença terrível que é o cancro, procurando trazer-lhes um pouco mais de conforto e alegria.

Este é um modelo muito simples e rápido de fazer, que pode ser tricotado em qualquer tamanho. Utilizei fios 100% acrílico Ice Yarns para bebé, Baby Color para tricotar o branco e Magic Light para o multicolor. Terminei o branco com uma flor em crochet aplicada.

Instruções Passo a Passo:

Material:
Agulhas circulares de 22cm e 5 agulhas de duas pontas de espessura adequada ao tipo de fio utilizado (pode utilizar apenas as 5 agulhas de 2 pontas se preferir, ou se o diâmetro do gorro for demasiado pequeno para as agulhas circulares de 22cm)
1 novelo de 50g
Agulha para coser lã

Montar um número de malhas múltiplo de 4 em agulhas circulares ou em agulhas de duas pontas para fazer meias e tricotar 6 voltas em canelado 2 meia, 2 liga, em círculo. Continuar a tricotar em círculo todas as malhas em meia até obter o comprimento desejado. Se estiver a utilizar agulhas circulares, distribua as malhas por 4 agulhas de ponta dupla, deixando um número par de malhas em cada agulha e tricotar as malhas juntas 2 a 2. Nesta altura passou a ter metade do número inicial de malhas. Em seguida, tricotar uma volta em meia e depois, se necessário, voltar a distribuir as malhas para que cada agulha fique com um número par de malhas e tricotar as malhas juntas 2 a 2. Ficou agora com um quarto do número de malhas inicial. Termine com uma volta em meia. Corte o fio deixando uma ponta com cerca de 15cm e enfie o fio numa agulha para coser lã. Enfie a agulha em cada uma das malhas, retirando-as das agulhas e puxe para fechar a parte de cima do gorro. Rematar as pontas E já está!

I've knitted these hats for Malhas de Esperança (Stitches of Hope), a solidarity project to help mitigate the suffering of children with cancer, trying to bring them some comfort and joy.
This is a very easy and quick pattern that can be knitted in any size. I used 100% acrylic baby yarn, Ice Yarns Baby Color to knit the white one, and Ice Yarns Magic Light to knit the colorful one. To finnish the white one I crocheted an aplique flower.

Pattern

Materials:
9'' circular needles and 5 double pointed needles with the indicated size for the yarn used (you can use only the DPNs if you wish, or if the hat is too small for the 9'' circular needles)
1 50g skein of yarn
Tapestry needle

Cast on a number of stictches multiple of 4 and knit 6 rows 2/2 ribbing in the round. Knit in the round until desired length. Distribute the stitches on DPNs so that you have an even number of stitches in each needle and knit 2 stitches together to the end of row. You now have half the stitches that you casted on. Knit 1 row. If necessary, distribute the stitches by the needles so that you have an even number of stitches in each needle. Knit 2 stitches together to the end of row. You now have a quarter of the number of stitches you casted on. Knit 1 row and cut the yarn, leaving about 6''. With a tapestry needle, Pass the yarn trough each stitch, take them off the needles and pull the yarn to close the top of the hat. Weave in ends. It's done!

Rain-Bow Vest

Comprei esta lã, Wool Boucleron Ice Yarns, pela textura e pelas cores, para fazer umas experiências em bouclé. Acabou por me sair este colete para a minha filha, que tricotei em dois dias sem grande esforço. Para terminar, cosi-lhe duas fitas de cetim que encontrei perdidas no meio do caos da minha caixa de material, para fechar o colete com um laço. Chamei-lhe Rain-Bow Vest por ter (quase) todas as cores do arco-íris e uma fita para dar um laço.

Para quem quiser, aqui estão as instruções:

Material

Aproximadamente 2 novelos de Wool Boucleron Ice Yarns

Agulhas de tricot de 8mm

40cm de fiita de cetim fúcsia.

Amostra

11 malhas x 9 voltas: 10cm x 10cm

Tamanho

O tamanho indicado serve a uma criança de 12/18 meses . Para adaptar o tamanho, basta diminuir ou aumentar o número de malhas em múltiplos de 3, desde que esse número seja um número par, para poder distribuir os aumentos ou diminuições de forma igual pelo decote e pelos ombros e diminuir ou aumentar o número de voltas até obter o comprimento desejado.

Execução

Montar 28 malhas e trabalhar 1 volta em ponto meia outra volta em ponto liga até a peça medir 25 cm de comprimento (no meu caso 34 voltas).

Rematar as 8 malhas centrais, ficando com 10 malhas de cada lado. Colocar as malhas de um dos lados num alfinete para segurar malhas ( eu costumo utilizar um pedaço de fio ou uma agulha de tricot circular) e trabalhar um conjunto de cada vez.

Trabalhar 3 voltas.

4º volta (meia): fazer um aumento na 2ª malha tricotando na parte da frente e na parte de trás da malha (11 malhas)

5ª volta (liga)

6ª volta: igual à 4ª volta (12 malhas)

7ª volta: liga

8ª volta. igual à 4ª volta (13 malhas)

9ª volta: liga

10ª volta. igual à 4ª volta (14 malhas)

Trabalhar 24 voltas alternando 1 volta em malha e uma volta em liga para que a parte da frente fique com o mesmo comprimento da parte de trás. Rematar.

Fazer o outro lado da parte da frente de forma igual, mas em vez de fazer os aumentos na 2ª malha, fazer na penúltima. Coser as partes laterais.

Cortar a fita de cetim em duas partes iguais e cortar uma das pontas de cada pedaço em viés.

Coser as outras pontas das fitas de cada um dos lados do colete para fechar com um laço. E já está!

I've bought this yarn, Wool Boucleron Ice Yarns, for its texture and colors, to experiment with boucle. This vest for my daughter flew out of my needles in 2 days. To finnish, I've sewn two satin ribbons that I found in the chaos of my supply box. I've named it Rain-Bow Vest, because it has (almost) all the colors of the rainbow and a bow.

Material
Approx. 2 skeins of Ice Yarns Wool Boucleron
8mm knitting needles
40 cm (16'') of fuchsia satin ribbon.

Gauge
11stiches x 9 rows: 10cm x 10cm (4'' x 4'')

Size
This size fits a 12/18 months toddler. To adjust size, just increase or decrease the number of stiches by multiples of 3 (this must be an even number) so you can divide the increased or decreased stiches evenly by the neckline and shoulders, and increase or decrease the number of rows to get the right length.

Pattern
Cast on 28 stiches and work 34 rows in stockinette stitch, or until the piece is about 25 cm (10'') long. Cast off the 8 middle stitches. You now have 10 stiches in each  ahoulder. Place the 10 stitches of one side in a stitch holder (I normally use one piece of yarn or circular needles), and work one set of 10 stitches at a time.
Work 3 rows in stockinette.
4th row (knit): kfb on the second stich (11 stitches)
5th row: purl
6th row: repeat 4th row (12 stitches)
7th row: purl
8th row: repeat 4th row (13 stitches)
9th row: purl
10th row: repeat 4th row (14 stitches)
Work 24 rows in stockinette. Cast off.
Repeat to knit the other front side of the vest, but with kfb in the stitch before the last stitch, instead of the second stitch. Sow the sides.
Cut the satin ribbon in 2 equal parts, and cut one of the ends of each piece on the bias.
Sow the other ends to each side of the vest to tie with a bow. And it's done!
